What happens next

Every project starts with a free on-site consultation with no-obligation quotation. Lee or Les will visit your home, look at the property and talk through what you would like to achieve. We will explain whether the work is likely to need planning permission or can go ahead under permitted development, and what drawings you will need for building regulations.

What to include in your enquiry

It helps to tell us the address or postcode of the property, what you would like to build, such as an extension, loft conversion, garage conversion or new home, and any timescale you have in mind. Photos of the house are handy if you have them, but they are not essential. A rough sketch or a few notes about how you use the house today can also help us prepare for the visit. If you already have drawings from a previous designer, let us know and we can advise whether they can be used.

After you get in touch

Once we receive your enquiry, Lee will have a chat with you about the project and, if it sounds like something we can help with, arrange a convenient time to visit. The visit is informal: we walk around the property, listen to your ideas and talk through the options. Afterwards we send you a written quotation setting out exactly what is included, so you can decide in your own time whether to go ahead. There is no obligation and no pressure. If you choose to proceed, we will agree the next steps with you, starting with a measured survey of the property and the first draft drawings. If you decide not to, that is absolutely fine too. Many of our clients come back to us months or years later when the time is right, and many recommend us to friends and family, which is how much of our work arrives.
